East Woods Landscaping Inc., based in Topsfield, Massachusetts, was founded by Todd Garfield in 2008. Born and raised in the area, Todd had a dream of opening a full-service landscape company to serve the community he had grown to know and love.
Our company was founded on a strong work ethic dating back to 1994 when Todd worked as his father's assistant maintaining the building and grounds of Trinity Episcopal Church & Preschool in Topsfield, MA. Every day after school, sports practices, or work Todd and his brother would meet their father to assist in the cleaning and landscaping of the property. In 2001, Todd refurbished the landscaping of the church graveyard for his Eagle Scout Project. In 2002, for his high school senior internship, he built a blue stone walkway to access the church bell tower.
During his college years in Boulder, CO, Todd held various positions at Massachusetts and Colorado-based landscape companies. Unhappy with the work ethic, job quality, and attention to detail, he knew it was time to start a company that based its reputation upon these three pillars. At last, East Woods Landscaping Inc., a full-service landscape maintenance and construction company, was born.
Our mission is to create an environment of lasting beauty utilizing natural site resources in conjunction with the budgetary, functional, and aesthetic objectives of our clients. We provide a wide range of services including property maintenance, landscape construction, and more.
