Our Story

Our president, Chet Kiefer, started mowing lawns with his brother Chad at the age of 7 and has continued to nurture his passion for landscaping ever since. After completing his business degree from Lake Land College in Mattoon, IL, Chet decided to focus on the lawn care business full-time. In 1991, he made the decision to open up Kiefer Landscaping, and since then, our team has been dedicated to providing exceptional services to our customers.
