Our Story

New Frontiers Landscaping is a company born from a simple career aptitude test taken at Notre Dame University. The results guided our founder, Randy Meert, toward his true passion: blending creativity and working outdoors. This led him to Purdue University's esteemed Landscape Architecture program, where he honed his skills and vision. From humble beginnings in 1981, New Frontiers Landscaping started as a one-man operation, gradually growing into a team of dedicated professionals equipped with the latest tools and technology. Initially operating out of several garden centers and a floral shop, the company quickly gained a reputation for its commitment to quality landscape installation and maintenance throughout the Michiana region.

As time progressed, Randy and his team realized their true calling: transforming outdoor spaces into breathtaking masterpieces through creative design and meticulous installation. This realization led to a focused shift towards landscape design and installation, which remains the core of New Frontiers Landscaping's mission today.
