Our Story: A Passion for Plants and Gardens

At Soares Flower Garden Nursery, our journey began in 1996 as an offshoot of our landscape business. Tired of the usual offerings, we started growing unusual flowers for our clients in our small home greenhouse. This passion project quickly grew into a reality, and we began offering these unique plants to our flower landscape clients. Word got around, and these special plants would sell out instantly. Our dream was to create a nursery tucked in the trees in East Falmouth, Cape Cod, MA, and with a little help from the Flora family, we made it a reality.

As we grew, so did our commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility. We recognized the importance of native plants in maintaining healthy ecosystems and supporting local biodiversity. Our large section devoted to native plants makes choosing perennials, shrubs, and trees easier for our customers.
