Kingsdene Nurseries and Garden Center, a beloved local business in Monkton, Maryland, was established in 1977 by long-time resident John Mays. Over the years, the business has grown alongside the community, always providing customers with the healthiest selection of plants possible. As a genuine working nursery, Kingsdene boasts a beautiful, expansive five-acre property where plants thrive under optimal conditions. Our team of dedicated, professional staff members are true plant enthusiasts, eager to help customers find the perfect tree, shrub, or perennial for their garden.

At Kingsdene Nurseries and Garden Center, we take great pride in making our community beautiful and supporting local organizations and charities. We are honored to host the annual Hereford Fall Festival, a two-day event that brings together craft vendors, food, music, and attractions to raise funds for the Hereford Volunteer Fire Department, Ambulance Service, local food banks, and other worthy causes. Additionally, we support the Hereford Independence Day Celebration and Parade by providing business trucks for the creation of unique and festive parade floats.

We employ a number of Certified Professional Horticulturists (CPH) to assist with all your gardening needs and questions.
