Our History

New Lawn Sod Farm has a rich history that dates back to the 1950s. Our story began with Leo and Eleanor DeBuck, who started their journey as vegetable farmers. They raised vegetables on their farm in Mt. Clemens, Michigan, where they harvested their first sod crop. From there, our family expanded the operation, buying a muck farm in Davison, Michigan, and eventually establishing our family's sod farming business.
