Harold Leidner

At Harold Leidner Landscape Architects, we have been custom-designing and building amazing pools, gardens, landscapes, and outdoor living spaces for some of the most luxurious properties in Highland Park, University Park, Preston Hollow, Dallas, Fort Worth, Westover Hills, and Westlake for over three decades. Our story began with the idea that the exteriors we designed were best built by the designers themselves. We are a team of university-trained and state-licensed landscape architects who understand the aesthetics of design and the details of construction.

Our Approach

Unlike other companies, we don't sell our architectural plans for other contractors to install. We also don't take a fee to manage contractors that we didn't hire. Instead, we build, manage, account, and guarantee every aspect of the projects we design. This approach ensures that our team of landscape architects and builders have designed and built residential exteriors that are better integrated because of our knowledge and experience. Our materials are more sustainable, energy is used more efficiently, and environmental decisions are sensible, all while creating physical beauty.

Meet Our Founder

I, Harold Leidner, was born in Dallas, Texas, and graduated from Hillcrest High School. After years of running my own small landscape business, I pursued my passion for Landscape Architecture from Texas A&M University. My experience at Neiman Marcus taught me valuable lessons about customer service. With my degree from Texas A&M University and state licensure in Landscape Architecture, I focused on residential design and construction. For over 30 years, I have owned my Landscape Architectural business, focusing on high-end residential design and construction. My philosophy is simple: if you like me, you'll see a lot of me. If not, we're probably not a good fit. I guide my clients from beginning to end through the design, construction, and ultimately, the care of their property. My guarantee is that we take Total Accountability.
