Our History

ProLawn Landscaping & Maintenance Co. was started in 1997 by its owner, Richard A. Huber, Jr. after spending the previous 8 years as a laborer and supervisor for another local landscaping and lawn care company. Rich earned a business degree from Penn State in 1996 while working for the other landscaping company. After earning his degree, he spent the next 10 years in the financial services industry as a successful consultant. He continued to do lawn care and landscaping in the evenings and on weekends. Several full-time employees were added along the way, and the company began to grow and expand. In 2007, Rich realized his passion was in the landscaping and lawn care industry and decided to operate his company on a full-time basis.

Today, the company employs a team of 10 full-time employees, 2 seasonal employees, and a full-time administrative assistant to keep up with customer demands and the ever-growing landscaping and lawn care industry. ProLawn Landscaping & Maintenance Co. now has individual teams that specialize in hardscaping, landscaping, lawn care, and maintenance. We also provide pond and waterfall installations and commercial snow removal and ice control. We are able to provide these exceptional services through our knowledge, experience, and expertise in the industry.
