Hoffman Nursery & Landscaping

Hoffman's Nursery and Landscaping has been a vital part of the Wabash community since 1938. Founded by Robert Hoffman, a Purdue University Horticulture graduate, the business started as a floral gift shop and a garden center with a 4-acre nursery. Over the years, the business has grown and evolved, always staying true to its roots in horticulture and community.

In 1948, Bob and his wife Donnabelle purchased a farmhouse and 16 acres on St Rd 15 and Division Road, where they remodeled the farmhouse into a garden center and gift shop. The nursery was established on the acreage, and the name was changed to Hoffman Nursery. In 1973, Larry Hoffman, the youngest son of Bob and Donna, joined the family business after graduating from the Purdue University School of Landscape Horticulture and design. Larry and his wife Cindy purchased the business in 1981 and became the second generation to own and operate the nursery.

In 2000, Larry relocated the business 2 miles north at the intersection of State Rd 15 and 200 N in anticipation of a future generation joining the business. The third Hoffman generation joined the business in 2001 after graduating from the Purdue School of Horticulture and expanded the company to include hardscapes as well as turf management. Today, Brian Hoffman, the oldest son of Larry and Cindy, is the current owner and continues the family legacy of providing high-quality landscaping services to the Wabash community.

In addition to our landscaping services, we also offer lawn treatment programs with our Greenkeeper Turf Management program. We can help you get and maintain a green, weed-free lawn that you'll be proud of. Our lawn treatments are tailored to your lawn's specific needs, ensuring optimal results.
