Founded and still managed by Ben Halonen, a lifelong resident of the Copper Country, Halonen Landscaping is a testament to passionate dedication and skilled craftsmanship. Ben's journey began at a young age, mowing lawns in Calumet as a teenager. This firsthand experience ignited a lifelong passion for landscaping that blossomed throughout his high school years. He used the income he earned from these early jobs to fund his education at Michigan Tech University, where he graduated in 2002.

Upon graduating and embarking on a new chapter with his marriage, Ben decided to turn his passion into a livelihood. Driven by his deep understanding of the local landscape and his commitment to quality, he established Halonen Landscaping.
