Close Cut Landscaping is a full-time landscaping business that has been proudly serving the Chagrin Valley area since 2002. Our service area includes Orange Village, Solon, Chagrin Falls, Pepper Pike, Hunting Valley, Moreland Hills, Twinsburg, Aurora, and Bentleyville, among other locations. The company was founded by Ernie Visnicky, a 2nd generation Alumni from Orange High School who grew up in Orange Village, Ohio. Ernie's passion for nature and being outdoors led him to work as a landscape laborer at Geauga Lake Amusement Park, where he quickly rose through the ranks to become the Senior Section Manager. After working for a few local landscape companies and gaining extensive management experience, Ernie decided to start his own landscape business.

Spring Cleanups

As winter comes to an end and spring begins, it's essential to remove unsightly leaves, branches, and debris from lawn areas and planting beds. At Close Cut Landscaping, our Spring Cleanup service includes the removal of debris, clearing of broken branches from ornamental trees and shrubs, and weeding of mulch beds and tree rings. We also provide a deep, well-manicured trench edge for mulch installation and prune hedges, shrubs, and trees for a natural, visually appealing shape. Our team checks and grooms the overall landscape for optimal appearance. If we were contracted for snowplowing, any snowplow damage is repaired at no extra charge.

Weekly Lawn Maintenance

Our weekly lawn maintenance service includes lawn cutting, police ground for trash, tree limbs, or obstructions. We cut turf areas at the proper mowing height in opposite directions on alternating visits to ensure even grass growth while presenting a visually attractive appearance. We do not bag grass clippings unless requested, as turf research shows that it's better to return clippings to the turf for nutritional replenishment. Our cutting service also includes weed trimming of areas that cannot be reached with the lawn mowers and edging of concrete borders along walkways, sidewalks, and driveways.
