Our History

Big Racquette was founded by Jeff Garlach, who learned the importance of hard work and dedication from an early age. Starting from a young age, Jeff worked with his father, Garth Garlach, in various trades including bagging and delivering ice, helping at his parent's ceramic shop, and learning how to plow and drive heavy equipment. Jeff's entrepreneurial spirit led him to start his business venture after receiving his Bachelor's Degree in Commercial Art from the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale. The name "Big Racquette" was established in 2006, marking the beginning of a new era for the company. Since then, Big Racquette has expanded its services and products to include parking lot sweeping, commercial and residential lawn care, and the distribution of Belgard and Aquascape products.
