Our Story

Morin's Landscaping is a family-owned and operated business, deeply rooted in the community and built on a foundation of hard work, dedication, and a genuine passion for transforming outdoor spaces. The story of Morin's Landscaping began in 2009, born from the entrepreneurial spirit of the Morin brothers, Andy and Kevin. Growing up, the brothers weren't initially focused on landscaping. Their first business venture involved cutting and selling firewood, a testament to their early work ethic and desire to build something of their own. They tirelessly delivered wood to customers, earning a reputation for reliability and quality. However, the fluctuating availability of firewood led them to consider new possibilities.

Timing, it seemed, was on their side. In 2006, their grandfather, Gene Wilds, required a lawn mowing service, finding it increasingly difficult to manage his own yard due to the summer heat. Kevin, eager to fund his passion for dirt bike racing, saw the opportunity to take on extra responsibilities. Armed with Grandpa Gene's old lawn mower, Kevin launched his first lawn care service, later expanding his operations thanks to the support and encouragement of his grandfather. Equipment was borrowed, tasks were juggled, and the foundation for Morin's Landscaping was laid. This marked the beginning of their journey, transforming grassy fields and neglected yards into beautiful, well-maintained landscapes.

Their commitment to quality service and customer satisfaction quickly gained them recognition and trust within the community. By 2011, the brothers had two full-time employees helping them manage a growing list of clients. Their weekly routine evolved, with Andy managing the business operations while Kevin continued his studies and part-time job. As their expertise expanded, so did their offerings. Morin's Landscaping introduced a diverse range of services, including landscaping design and installation, hardscaping, aeration and overseeding, and snow removal, becoming a one-stop shop for all outdoor needs.

A Natural Expansion: Entering the World of Pest Control

In 2016, driven by customer requests and a desire to provide comprehensive solutions, Morin's Landscaping took a natural leap forward. The brothers recognized a need for quality pest control services and, with their dedication to excellence, embarked on a new venture: A1 Pest Pros. After successfully passing the rigorous Category 7a - Industrial, Institutional, Structural, and Health-Related Pest Management exam, Kevin and Andy were equipped to tackle both indoor and outdoor pest problems.

The expansion to pest control further solidified their commitment to customer convenience and comprehensive service solutions. Recognizing the unique challenges posed by termites and wood-destroying pests, Andy achieved his Category 7b - Termite Control certification in 2017, empowering A1 Pest Pros to offer a full spectrum of professional pest control solutions for residential, commercial, and industrial properties.
