Based in Asheville, North Carolina, we have been serving western North Carolina since 1998.

Our Story

Our founder, Tom Mainolfi, is a landscape designer with over two decades of experience. Born and raised in western North Carolina, Tom has a deep understanding of the region's unique climate, soil, and plant communities. He has degrees in both architecture and landscape design from the University of Tennessee and George Washington University. Tom's extensive background in masonry, including over 20 years of experience working with stone, brick, and block, allows him to bring a unique perspective to every project.

Our Process

Our process begins with a meticulous site analysis, taking into account every aspect of your site, including soil, sun/shade balance, topography, wind direction, views (positive and negative), plant cover, and habitat. We use this information to produce a customized design that suits your site, your own vision, and your budget.

Design

Our design process is a collaboration between you and our expert team. We will work with you to create a unique outdoor space that reflects your personal style and complements your property.

Installation

Once the design is approved, we begin the installation process. This includes grading and drainage, followed by the installation of hardscape elements such as stone walls, walkways, driveways, terraces, fountains, and patios. We also install plantings, including trees, shrubs, grasses, perennials, vines, ferns, and mosses.

Maintenance

Taking care of your landscape is essential, and we believe it's one of the greatest satisfactions for property owners. We offer maintenance packages to ensure your outdoor space remains healthy and beautiful for years to come.
