Business Details
We founded Becker Landscaping & Tree Service with a focus on tree removal and stump grinding before expanding into full arboricultural services. Our owner, William Becker, achieved ISA certification and continued advanced education in arboriculture to broaden our expertise. We employ staff specialists who possess deep knowledge of Prince William and Fairfax County tree regulations. Every member of our team, including leadership, maintains active membership in the International Society of Arboriculture. We have served the Northern Virginia, DC, and Maryland region for decades with professional tree care.
Our consultants evaluate site history and erosion risks during every initial consultation to prevent future issues. We strictly avoid using climbing spikes on living trees during pruning to protect long-term tree health. Our arborists manage all municipal paperwork for grading plans and tree preservation permits. We offer flexible deferred payment options for projects exceeding one thousand dollars. Clients trust us for certified arborist reports required during real estate transactions. We remain committed to the highest professional standards in every service we deliver.

Arborist Reports
We prepare detailed certified arborist reports required by municipalities for grading plans and construction permits. Our ISA-certified arborists thoroughly evaluate tree health and preservation needs to satisfy local regulations. Clients receive complete documentation handling from initial site inspection to final municipal submission.
Tree Removal
Our certified arborists safely remove hazardous or unwanted trees using advanced rigging techniques and equipment. We prioritize property protection and thorough cleanup during every removal project. Stump grinding and debris hauling are available as part of our comprehensive removal service.
Stump Grinding
We grind stumps completely below grade level to eliminate tripping hazards and allow for seamless landscaping restoration. Our specialized equipment accesses tight spaces while minimizing surrounding lawn damage. Wood chips can be removed entirely or repurposed as mulch per client preference.
Trimming & Pruning
Our ISA-certified arborists perform precision pruning without using damaging spikes on living trees. We enhance tree structure, health, and aesthetics while strictly following ANSI A300 standards. Corrective pruning addresses storm damage and promotes long-term vitality for your valuable landscape investment.
Cabling & Bracing
We install dynamic cabling and bracing systems to support structurally weak trees and prevent catastrophic failure. Our certified arborists assess risk factors and design custom support solutions for each specimen. This preservation technique extends tree life while protecting surrounding property and residents.
