Our company was founded by Tim Cota, who grew up in a small community in Northern Minnesota. Tim's passion for lawn care and landscaping began when he worked as a golf course superintendent in his hometown. After moving to the Roaring Fork Valley in 1997, he decided to start Gopher Irrigation in the spring of 1999.

In addition to his passion for landscaping, Tim also has 25 years of experience coaching youth hockey. He has continued to coach Youth Hockey in Glenwood Springs at the high school level. His love for landscaping and lawn care, combined with his passion for coaching youth hockey, has made Gopher Irrigation a unique company that is deeply rooted in the local community.

We are proud of our strong ties within the community and our commitment to providing high-quality services to our clients. Many of our hockey players also work for us during the summer months, making our company a family-oriented business that we are truly proud of.
