Our History

Founded in 1957, Ted Collins Tree & Landscape has a rich history of providing landscapes that surpass expectations. Our story began with a small office in Charlotte, along the Erie Canal in Pittsford, where our founder, Ted Collins, had a vision of creating a company that would bring the beauty of nature to the community. Over the decades, our commitment to quality and expertise has remained steadfast, earning us recognition as one of the most well-known and trusted tree and landscape companies in the Rochester area.

Our Team

Our team of leaders is comprised of talented professionals with a deep understanding of horticulture and landscape design. With a combined total of over 100 years of experience, we have the expertise to handle any project or task at hand.

Gregory Frank, President, is responsible for the overall direction and strategy of the company.

Bryan Frank, Vice President of Operations, oversees the daily operations of the company, ensuring that all projects are completed to the highest standards.

Trevor Wood, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, leads our sales and marketing efforts, connecting us with customers and partners across the region.

Dan Hackett, Design Consultant, brings his expertise in landscape design to every project, from concept to completion.

JR McCarthy, Senior Landscape Design Consultant, has over 20 years of experience in landscape design and installation.

Ryan McElhinney, Sales Consultant/Arborist, has a deep understanding of arboriculture and tree care.

Michael D'Amico, Controller, manages the financial aspects of the company, ensuring that we are fiscally responsible.

Chris Nally, Construction/Hardscape Department Head, oversees the construction and installation of hardscapes, including patios, walkways, and retaining walls.

Paul Gleason, Planting Department Head, leads our planting department, ensuring that every plant, tree, and shrub is carefully selected and placed.

Ori Dankosh, Lawn Care/Plant Health Department Head, specializes in plant health care, providing treatments and maintenance services to keep your lawn and garden thriving.

Matt Andrews, Maintenance Department Head, oversees the daily maintenance of our customers' properties, ensuring that every property remains in immaculate condition.
