Our team, led by founder and president Jeff Schwartz, has a deep commitment to the environment and the community. Jeff founded AME in 2002, and since then, we have grown into a full-service commercial and environmental landscape company. We manage projects with uncompromising attention to detail from start to finish, ensuring that every client is completely satisfied with our work.

Our Services

Our commercial landscaping services include site planning, budgeting, value options, and cost analysis. We assign an experienced project manager to coordinate all purchasing, equipment, and labor needs for each project. We also offer environmental mitigation services, including state and federal projects, builder/developer partnering, and local community efforts. Our team has the experience and regulatory knowledge to handle these projects efficiently and effectively.

Our tree care services include a full range of arboriculture services to ensure the health of your trees and the safety of your property. We hold a Maryland Tree Expert License, and employ ISA-Certified Arborists, as well as professional climbers and operators. We provide a professional assessment and consultation for each job with a focus on safety.

Finally, we offer snow removal services for shopping centers, government facilities, HOA's, and multi-unit communities. Our team is equipped with the necessary equipment and expertise to handle snow removal efficiently and effectively.

Our Team

Our team is led by Jeff Schwartz, who founded AME in 2002. Jeff is a lifelong Montgomery County resident who grew up in Silver Spring and attended Springbrook High School. His love of the outdoors began early with lawnmowing jobs, hikes at Billy Goat Trail, family camping trips, skiing adventures, and more. He earned his degrees in Environmental Science from the State University of New York and Johns Hopkins.

Eric DuBois serves as our Vice President. Eric has known the Ashton area his entire life and grew up just three miles from AME's corporate office. He brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to our team and is dedicated to delivering exceptional results for our clients.

Licenses & Certifications

We hold a Maryland Tree Expert License and employ ISA-Certified Arborists, as well as professional climbers and operators. Our team is fully licensed and certified to handle all of your commercial and environmental landscaping needs.
