Schreiber Mulch and Materials is a family-owned and operated small business that has been committed to providing customers with the best products and services at the most reasonable prices for over 20 years. Our company is centrally located between Richmond and Williamsburg, just one mile from Providence Forge.

Our yard in Providence Forge is set up to accommodate homeowners, landscapers, and commercial contractors. We offer a wide range of services and products including bio-retention soils, landscaping products, fill material, woody debris disposal, land clearing, and commercial tub-grinding services.

At Schreiber Mulch and Materials, we have a very responsive team that aims to please. We work hard to provide superior products that can be delivered on time. • Landscaping Products: Schreiber Mulch and Materials can handle your landscaping needs, whether you need 3 or 70 yards of premium double ground hardwood mulch, compost, or 50/50 Mix.
• Woody Debris Disposal: Schreiber Mulch and Materials accepts brush, logs, stumps, clean chips, leaves, and root mat. Each load is categorized by material and size then charged to the customer accordingly.
• Engineered Soils: Schreiber Mulch and Materials can handle both commercial and residential construction soil demands. From structural fill, road base materials, bio-retention soils all the way to custom blended soils for local golf course construction. Each custom blended soil is designed and mixed per job specification.

• BIOMEDIA: Schreiber Mulch and Material's "Biomedia" has been engineered in the labs at Virginia Tech using VA DEQ clearing house specification for their guidelines. This product has been tested for chemical compositions, particle size distribution, water-holding capacity, bulk density, and seedling germination rates. Per VA DEQ guidelines, all materials will meet organic matter content requirements.
• Construction/Fill: Schreiber Mulch and Materials can handle both commercial and residential construction soil demands. From structural fill, road base materials, bio-retention soils all the way to custom blended soils for local golf course construction. Each custom blended soil is designed and mixed per job specification.
• Topsoil/Compost: Schreiber Mulch and Materials offers suitable fill for all your building and construction needs along with bio-retention soils.
• Mushroom Compost: Our mushroom compost is of the highest quality and is suitable for all your gardening needs.
• Walnut Brown Dyed Mulch: Our walnut brown dyed mulch is made from 100% natural wood fibers and is safe for all plants.
• Black Dyed Mulch: Our black dyed mulch is made from 100% natural wood fibers and is safe for all plants.
• Natural Mulch (Undyed): Our natural mulch is made from 100% natural wood fibers and is safe for all plants.
