Our Story

Our journey began when James Dillon, a veteran of the landscaping industry, decided to open his own company, Native Havens LLC, after 15 years of experience in the field. With a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of ecology, James has created an extensive garden in Kearneysville, WV, where he observes hundreds of plants for hardiness, attractiveness to pollinators, growth habit, and ornamental qualities. He continues to study ecology through continuing education and incorporates ecological landscape design concepts into his designs whenever possible.
