Our story began with Tom Friel, our owner and designer, who started working in the landscaping industry at a young age under his father's successful company, Friel Landscaping. After attending Villanova University, Tom established Blue River Landscaping in Summit County in 1992, and later founded Roaring Fork Landscapes in Aspen and the surrounding area in 2002. Today, our company is known for its expertise in irrigation and erosion control, intricate water features, patio design and installation, and much more.
