OUR STORY

At Cayuga Landscape Company, we've been dedicated to creating and maintaining superior public and private landscapes for over 45 years. Our mission is simple: to provide imaginative and sustainable landscapes that not only enhance the beauty of our community but also promote environmental responsibility and fairness to our clients and staff.

OUR SERVICES

We operate several divisions to achieve our mission, including our Garden Center, Residential Design-Build, Residential Grounds Maintenance, Commercial and Civic, and Farm and Nursery.

GARDEN CENTER

Our Garden Center is your one-stop-shop for all your gardening needs. We offer a vast selection of plants, gifts, and horticultural materials. Our knowledgeable staff are eager to help you find the perfect plant for your specific site conditions. We specialize in deer-resistant and native plants, as well as shade, flowering, and evergreen trees grown at our own farm on Bundy Road in the Town of Ithaca.

RESIDENTIAL DESIGN-BUILD

Our Residential Design-Build team is comprised of talented garden designers, including those with degrees in Landscape Architecture. We offer a wide range of design and build services, including creating retaining walls, walkways, stairways, fences, gates, gardens, landscape lighting, and more. Our experienced estimators are happy to meet with you to discuss your project and provide a personalized estimate.

REidential GROUNDS MAINTENANCE

We understand that maintaining a beautiful and healthy garden can be time-consuming and daunting. That's why we offer comprehensive grounds maintenance services, including mowing and trimming lawns, caring for garden beds and plants, scouting for insects and diseases, and protecting your plantings from deer and rodents. We also offer a range of other services, including spring cleanup, mulching and annual planting, summer pruning and bed maintenance, fall garden cleanup, and winter protection.

COMMERCIAL AND CIVIC

Our Commercial and Civic division has successfully completed projects with top General Contractors in the Northeast, including Cornell University. We've also completed projects at the Tompkins County Airport and the Cayuga Medical Center. Our experience includes large tree moving, green roof installation, rain gardens, sports turf fields, timber stairways and walls, segmented block retaining walls, brick pavers, stone work, and carpentry work.

FARM AND NURSERY

Our Farm and Nursery division is dedicated to growing and harvesting high-quality plants and materials. We grow almost all the trees we sell at our 25-acre Bundy Road farm, including crabapples, maples, pines, oaks, willows, and many more. We also operate a 90-acre farm in Enfield, which produces hay and sustainable forest products such as natural Black Locust fence posts, riven Maple picket fencing, cleft Oak gates, woven wood hurdles, and more.

GREEN INITIATIVES

We're committed to sustainability and reducing our environmental footprint. We buy local plants and materials whenever possible, recycle nursery pots, plastic bottles, paper, and cardboard, and compost all organic garden material.

COMMUNITY OUTREACH

We're proud to support our community through financial and in-kind contributions to local projects and organizations. We believe that investing in our community greenspaces benefits everyone. We donate plants to local schools, parks, and organizations and offer to donate trees for Arbor Day.
